About Me:
I've been actively working towards making comic books since about grade 6. My very first inspiration toward better drawing came from an active rundown of Keiji Inafune's Mega Man art as the games came out (always the last page in those instruction manuals). Since then, most of my artistic inspiration still comes from manga artists (Rumiko Takahashi, Hitoshi Ariga, Akira Toriyama, Goseki Kojima to name a few). My writing inspiration takes more from manga than western comics, though I find myself drawing more from the resources of European and North American novelists than comics regarding writing (H.P. Lovecraft, Alan Moore, and James Clavell to name a few).
May aim is to capture the wonder of being engrossed in the video games and comics I loved as a child and to pass that feeling on to those who read my books (no small feat, but why start small?). more of my work can be viewed at my not-very-regularly updated DeviantArt page, http://bouncingdynamo.deviantart.com.
